OUR STORY
A personal approach to the Balearics.
MARU was born from a life shaped by travel, the sea and a deep appreciation for places with character.
My name is Dominik and for years, I have travelled extensively, discovering different cultures, coastlines and ways of living. Over time, one idea became increasingly clear: the most memorable journeys are rarely defined by a single villa, yacht or service. They are defined by how effortlessly everything comes together.
MARU was created around that belief.
Menorca is where our story begins.
It is the island where my wife, Mary Joy, and I chose to build our life, where we established trusted local relationships, and where our son was born. It is not simply our first destination. It is home.
Mary Joy leads the wellness and concierge side of MARU, with a focus on personal care, discretion and the details that allow our guests to truly switch off.
I oversee yacht charter and yacht management, as well as villa rentals and villa management, bringing together my experience with the sea, hospitality and private client service.
Together, we offer a more considered way to experience Menorca.
Not through a collection of disconnected services, but through one trusted local team.
A private villa.
A day on the water.
A treatment at home.
A table reserved.
A transfer arranged.
A detail handled before you need to ask.
Our philosophy
We believe luxury is not about excess.
It is about time, privacy, ease and knowing that everything has been taken care of.
Our role is to create that feeling.
Quietly.
Personally.
Precisely.
From Menorca, beyond.
Menorca is the foundation of MARU.
Our vision is to grow carefully across the Balearic Islands, building the same trusted network and level of service in Mallorca, Ibiza and Formentera.
We do not want to be everywhere.
We want to be in the right places, with the right people, offering a service that always feels personal.
MARU
Private stays. Yachts. Wellness. Concierge. Management.
Menorca, with a wider Balearic vision.
